Time-frequency domain characteristics analysis of a hydro-turbine governor system considering vortex rope excitation

چکیده

Understanding and simulating the dynamic characteristics of hydro-turbine governor system is essential to guarantee safety hydro-power systems. This study proposes a modification method water head at draft tube inlet, which discretize introduce excitation term vortex rope. The proposed approach applied for modeling system. model (Model I) verified by means comparison with second II) without considering rope against experimental data during load reduction. developed accurate providing errors head, inlet flow Model ? are within ±3.3%, ±2% ±5%, respectively. overcomes limitations ? in time-domain frequency-domain since that only provides average pressure tube, do not reflect fluctuation energy fluctuation. Instead allows capture reduction as shown results. promotes development model.
